THE SOUND OF EISENBERG
At the opening of the spectacular new building designed by Matteo Thun, we gave ourselves a new sonic dimension with a sound logo. At the same time, we sent this new sound on a journey - with an open music competition with great prizes and great participants.
Because just as the Waldkliniken Eisenberg change - and always remain true to their DNA - our sound logo should also continue to develop. In the interpretations, compositions, remixes or songs by bands, soloists and musicians from all over Germany.
You can find some of the outstanding entries on our pin board. You can listen to our sound logo here.
The jury is currently reviewing the entries and will announce the winners before Christmas. Because at THE SOUND OF EISENBERG there are attractive prizes to be won with 2 days of recording studio, high-quality instruments and vouchers.
It's best to just stop by every now and then.
That could be won at The Sound of Eisenberg
We are not only proud of our new sound logo but were also very curious to see how musicians from all over Germany interpret this logo.
And that's why we have offered particularly attractive prizes in this competition:
The jury of "The Sound of Eisenberg" rewards the best contribution with a sensational price:
2 days in a professional studio including travel and hotel costs for up to 5 band members.
In addition to this main prize, we we will raffle:
10 x 250 Euro vouchers at Musikhaus Thomann - the largest music store in Europe
5 x Behringer synthesizers "Crave" worth € 150
5 x Thomann vouchers worth € 75
5 x 1-year subscription including 100 credits per month at Splice.com - one of the leading platforms for music production
Additionally: 10 vouchers worth 75 euros at Musikhaus Thomann among all those who uploaded their submissions by August 31st
THE CALL TRAILER FOR THE SOUND OF EISENBERG
For the video clip of the open music competition THE SOUND OF EISENBERG, the managing director of the Waldkliniken Eisenberg, David-Ruben Thies, picked up the violin himself. For the first time in 16 years.
In the clip you not only hear the interpretation of our managing director, but also see the new building designed by the Italian architect Matteo Thun shortly before completion.
In the meantime we have inaugurated our new house with Prime Minister Bodo Ramelow and we welcome our patients there as guests.
You can find out more about our hospital and the new construction of the Waldkliniken on our website.
Wow - you are amazing!
We already suspected when developing this competition that a lot of wonderful "Sound of Eisenberg" was waiting for us out there.
The result still blew us away: So different, so varied, so touching were the entries from hobby, amateur and professional musicians from all over Germany.
With sensual sounds and moving texts. And above all, very individual and special. Just like we see ourselves as a hospital.
You can watch and listen to some of the interpretations on the pin board.
The Waldkliniken Eisenberg and the Sound of Eisenberg
For 75 years we have already been a specialist clinic for orthopedics for Thuringia, Germany and the world - and as a municipal hospital an important component of medical care in the Saale-Holzland district. With the professorship for orthopedics at the Friedrich Schiller University Jena and the Deutsches Zentrum für Orthopädie, we enjoy an international reputation in endoprosthetics.
In autumn 2020 we opened our new building, which can accommodate 300 patients, designed by the Italian architect and designer Matteo Thun. For the opening of this new building, we developed a sound logo and a brand song and presented both at the inauguration.
Since we know from our practice that ideas from more people always produce the best in the end, we organized this small music competition. And now we know that this has given us even more exciting perspectives on our house and "The Sound of Eisenberg" - many thanks to all participants.
